SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2022

As per the SSC GD Constable Exam pattern, the Tier 1 exam is an online, multiple-choice based exam.

• The exam consists of 4 sections with 100 questions in total.

• The duration for the SSC GD Constable Tier I exam is 90 minutes.

• The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is conducted in bilingual languages – English and Hindi only.

• There is 0.25 negative marking for every incorrect answer in the SSC GD online test.

• The questions asked in the online examination will be of High School (10th) level.

The candidates’ ability to understand basic English and its basic comprehension would be tested. Whether you choose to appear in English or Hindi language, this section will be in English language only for all candidates.

SSC GD Constable PET

The candidates who score more than the cut-off marks for the SSC GD Online exam will be eligible to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test for which the standards have been set by SSC.

For Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Note:

Pregnancy at the time of PET will be considered a disqualification and pregnant female candidates shall be rejected at this stage.

The Ex-servicemen who will be shortlisted in Computer Based Examination will have to appear in PET/PST stage for recording measurement of height, chest and weight only. PET will not be held for these Ex-servicemen candidates. Further, they will have to qualify for medical Examination (DME).

SSC GD Constable PST

The PET will be followed by the Physical Standard Test which will shortlist the candidates on the basis of physical parameters including height, chest size, vision. The candidates qualifying this stage will be called for medical examination. The details have been discussed below:
